The Obowu Development Association Abuja branch has inaugurated its members of the Board of Trustees, Patrons and members of the Umbudsmen.
The members of the Board of Trustees who were inaugurated include Chief Chika Okafor, KSM, KSS, FNIVS, Chairman, Charles Okafor, PhD, FSI, Secretary, Mr. Japh CT Nwosu, OON, Rt. Hon. Ike C. Ibeh, former Speaker, Imo state House of Assembly, HRH Eze Charles-Robin Njoku, Hon.Chief Barr. Chris A. Okewulonu and Chief Desmond Ihejirika,FSI.”
The Patrons are Engr. Ikenna Gabriel Awara, Rt. Gen. Okey Ugo, Chief Nnaemeka M. Uzoigwe, Chief Engr. Mathew Nwahiri, Hon. (Chief) Mrs. Chinwendu Edomobi-Amba and Hon. DCN Chike John Okafor, member, representing Okigwe South at the National Assembly.
While the members of the Unbudsmen include Chief (Barr.) Obi Anyanwu, Chairman, Chief (Barr.) Frank Okafor, PhD, Barr. Uche Uwazuruonye, HRH Igwe Ezenwa Anyanwu, the Eze Ndi Igbo of Karu, Abuja, FCT and Chief Mighty Dominic Anyanwu, Chairman, ODA Abuja Council of Distinguished Chiefs.
This event was witnessed by other prominent members of ODA Abuja including High Chief Vitalis Ekeh, Chief Polly Nwoke, Engr. Godwin Nwokorie, Chief Thompson Mounaka, the Chairman of Umuosochie Town Union, Mr. Chigozie Agamegwa, the Chairman, of Umuariam Town Union, Mr. Bartho Nwokorie, the Chairman of Okwuohia Development Union, Elder Ifeanyichukwu Nwokorie and the president of the ODA Abuja women’s Wing Dr. (Mrs.) Chinyelu Okafor and the members of her executive.
In his speech, the President of the Obowu Development Association Abuja branch, Ichie Bede O. Anyanwu, MMIPR, fcai appreciated the newly inaugurated members of the Board of Trustees, Patrons and the Unbudsmen for accepting to render such a selfless service to the people.
In his reaction, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chief Chika Okafor, KSM, KSS, FNIVS thanked the Executive and members for finding them worthy to serve Obowu Development Association Abuja in this capacity and promised to support the present executive in actualising their programme.
Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the new sets of chairs procured through the joint efforts of the members of the Obowu Development Association Abuja branch.
