Women Affairs Commissioner Commends Gov. Ododo For Facilitating Kogi Women Development Roadmap

The Kogi State honourable commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatimah Momoh has commended the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for his unwavering commitment to the development of Kogi women.

In her statement released to the media as part of her mid-term report from an ongoing training ahead of the commencement of the Nigerian for Women Programme (NFWP), Hajia Fatimah lauded the Governor for providing adequate support to the Kogi State team who are currently attending the training for the World Bank supported programme in Ogun State.

The commissioner noted that the peer training is aimed at preparing her team and their counterpart from Nasarawa state with the requisite knowledge for effective delivery of democratic dividends to women in their respective states.

The Women Affairs Commissioner who acknowledged that the experience has so far been enriching further noted that her team continues to learn valuable lessons that will enhance their capacity to deliver to the women their deserved benefits upon the commencement of the program.
